About Ayurtoday
Sri Guruvayurappan Ayurveda Nursing Home, Guruvayur, Kerala
Our Legacy
Late Dr. K. R. Prabhakaran — Founder
With over 30 years of Government service, he founded Sri Guruvayurappan Ayurveda Nursing Home with a clear purpose:
to practice authentic, physician-led Ayurveda grounded in clinical discipline and in-house preparation of classical medicines.
His legacy established the foundation we still follow today — rigorous clinical standards, structured Panchakarma pathways, and a pharmacy patients could trust completely.

Late Dr. K. Lakshmy — Co-Founder
Also a veteran of more than 30 years in Government service, she shaped the quality-first culture of the Nursing Home.
Her approach prioritised ethical sourcing, meticulous preparation methods, and compassionate routines that families could sustain in daily life.
She set the tone for what Ayurtoday still stands for: clarity, care, and practical education rooted in classical discipline.
