Panchakarma Therapy
A Complete Journey of Detoxification & Rejuvenation
Panchakarma is a classical Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation process designed to remove accumulated toxins (āma), balance the doṣas and restore the natural strength of Agni. It is done step-by-step: preparing the body, performing cleansing procedures, and rebuilding through Rasāyana Chikitsā.

Phase 1: Preparation
Agni Rekindling (Dīpana–Pācana)
Strengthen digestive fire with light herbal formulations and easily digestible diet.
Rūkṣaṇa (Drying Therapies)
Udvartana (dry powder massage), light diet to reduce stickiness and prepare channels.
Snehapāna (Internal Oleation)
Medicated ghee/oil in increasing doses to bring toxins from tissues to the digestive tract.

Phase 2: The Five Procedures
Basti –
Medicated enemas targeting Vāta and nervous system
Vamana –
Therapeutic emesis for excess Kapha (chest, lungs, stomach)
Virechana –
Therapeutic purgation for Pitta and liver toxins

Raktamokṣaṇa –
Blood purification for severe Pitta-Kapha conditions
Nasya –
Nasal instillation for head, sinuses and sense organs
Phase 3: Rasāyana Chikitsā (Rejuvenation)
After cleansing, the body enters a receptive "reset" state. Rasāyana herbal formulations nourish tissues, enhance immunity (ojas), and improve vitality. Gradual diet progression, gentle yoga, and daily routines sustain the benefits for healthy aging and emotional balance.
